Abstract
|

|
The clinical study was carried out I case of patient with whiplash injury (HNP of C-spine) caused by traffic accident, who was treated in Dept. of Oriental Rehabilitation, Oriental Medicine Hospital, Taejon University.
The result was as follow :
1. HNP of C-spine are not in oriental medicine books, but it is guessed that they belong to the category of neck stiffness, shoulder-back pain, shoulder-arm pain.
2. The pathogenesis of whiplash injury caused by traffic accident originated from firstly blood stasis caused of outer attack and exogenous pathogenic factors specially cold and wind evil, lastly impairment of the liver and kidney.
3. As acupuncture treatments is usually used about Trigger point of Stemocleidomastoid, Trapezius, Levator scapulae, Supraspinatus, Deltoid, Scalene muscles.
4. We could get the effective result by providing the patient with Kagamhoisusan(加減回首散) and physiotherapy.
